Operation of the system properly with a view to ensuring smooth and uninterrupted gas supply to all customers and repair and maintenance of the system as and when required.

Titas Gas T & D Co. Ltd. (TGTDCL), @ 0.10 MMCFD. -From Madabpur Titas DRS for the purpose of distribution of gas to all categories of customers in Madabpur Upa-Zilla, Hobigonj.

1.5 Acres of khas land was taken from D.C Sylhet on 11.03.93 as lease for 30 years & the 10 stories building was constructed there. The Building has 10 stories & a basement floor. Each floor is 12500 Sqft. Two storied Bank lobby & the Auditorium together is 16300 Sqft. The Auditorium has 470 seats.

 

The company has its own regional office complexes at Sunamgonj, Chatak, Fenchugonj, Moulvibazar, Srimongal, Kulaura, Hobigonj, and Shahjibazar in Sylhet Division.

 

The company has its own Site office complexes at Madhabpur in Sylhet Division.

 

  

iv)        Residential Accommodation

:

The company has Residential Building for staff at Sylhet, Chatak, Srimongal, Hobigonj, and Shahjibazar, in Sylhet Division.

TRAINING PROGRAMME

:

Considering the importance of training for the development of human resources, officer and staff are trained in the country on Gas Regulation & Maintenance, NDT, Safety & Environment, Management Development, Accounting Management, Welding and Industrial relation. Foreign training program cannot be taken up for the non-availability of foreign aided development project.

HUMAN RELATIONS

:

The company always arrange annual sports, picnic, indoor games and Milad mahfil every year to develop brotherly relation among the officer and staff and to increase mutual understanding and credibility. Scholarship and Certificate are awarded to the children of the employees on the basis of their result in Annual/Scholarship examinations. Besides these, the Martyr day, Independence day and the Victory day are also observed with due enthusiasm and solemnity.

ENVIRONMENT & SAFETY

:

The company has been coordinating with the concerned division of Petrobangla to help & maintain ecological balance and prevent environmental pollution in view of the national commitment. Safety measures are taken during pipeline route selection, pipeline installation, testing, pigging, commissioning, construction of DRS/RMS, installation of CP, NDT etc. under Gas Safety Rules. Besides, the company undertakes tree plantation program every year in different office premises of the company following national tree plantation program. The company also arranges meeting & seminars as and when required.
